Chef & Founder
Chef Erin Moore decided to take her love of cooking and hosting by officially launching Hermana Catering in 2017. Her cooking reflects a combination of reverence and curiosity for all cuisines and their cultures. The foods of Spain are her personal favorite but this is just a small detail, she will impress your friends and family with her ability to recreate the foods that feel like home
Erin’s commitment to food justice and time spent as a public school teacher before her leap into hospitality has granted her unique perspectives around the collective power of a shared meal. She believes that food should be luxurious but not a luxury. Erin will cook your favorite foods with love, she might even use one of your grandmother’s recipes if you ask her to.
What We Do for Our Community
Hermana Catering donates 2-5% of the profits from every event to food distribution efforts in Sullivan County. Our commitment to food justice is part of our mission. As our client list grows, so does our postitive impact within a landscape of increased food insecurity.
